Harris Humane Mouse Trap

Harris Humane Mouse Trap

Used all kinds of mouse traps, the classic spring powered snap trap, the sticky pads, poison and more. This is the best, and hands down the best. The secret to it’s success is, it doesn’t kill the mouse. Mice are social critters if you find one, there is, more then likely, several more near by. The classic spring powered mouse trap kills the mouse, mice aren’t stupid, the other see this and that’s it, they won’t go back. The same for the sticky pad. This trap… I’ve caught 4 mice in 5 days, you simply couldn’t do that with the std spring trap. The down side is you have to move the mouse out a ways from your house. The exact distance seems to be in debate, some say 1 mile+. Think it depends on where you live. Wouldn’t leave a mouse in the trap over night, they will try to chew hole in it trying to escape. Put the mouse in a trash can or empty paint bucket that is at least 20 inches tall. They don’t seem to be able to jump that vertical distance. Sometimes it’s a bit funny in that they won’t want to leave the trap.
